Interflora delivers flowers to your events and you can send flowers to your personnel, partners and customers.

Business Service

Interflora delivers your messages of thanks, congratulations, sympathy, apologies etc. to your personnel, your partners and your customers at any occasion around the World - naturally with flowers! Interflora offers corporate customers different kinds of individual solutions:

* bouquets can be delivered with your personal greeting cards (for example with your company logo)
* terms of payment can be agreed individually
* deliveries on regular basis

For further information about solutions for your need, please contact our customer service by chat, email or calling. Only our business customers can make orders and have invoicing as a payment method. Order and Delivery

### Delivery fee and Service Fee

The Delivery fee is 14,50 € for orders in Finland when ordered from our web shop. On orders abroad the delivery fee is 19,70€.  
The flower item includes a service fee 5,20€.

### Order Deadlines and Delivery Times

Interflora will deliver your flower orders to desired home or business address to almost everywhere in Finland. Orders placed before 1:45 PM on weekdays can be delivered to home addresses the same day almost everywhere in Finland. To bigger cities same day deliveries are available for ordering until 3:45 PM On Saturdays, orders for the same day delivery can be placed until 10:45 AM. If the delivery is not possible for the given date, the form on our web shop will not let you choose that date. If there are no deliveries to the chosen, the form on our web shop will notify you that deliveries are not possible to the given location.  
We can not guarantee exact delivery times, but you may add your delivery time wish in your order and the delivering florist will do their best to deliver on the desired time. If you need delivery on an exact time, please contact our customer service [info@interflora.fi](mailto:info@interflora.fi) or +358 10 217 6320 and we will do our best to arrange this delivery.  
**Deliveries to home address will be made mainly between 10-20 on weekdays and between 10-18 on Saturdays. Orders to companies are delivered during the office hours (by 16.00 pm) unless stated otherwise.**

Deliveries to company addresses are possible on weekdays. Orders to companies must be placed one (1) day in advance or latest the same morning by 9 AM. **Orders to companies are delivered during the office hours (by 16.00 pm) unless stated otherwise.**

### Additional Products

You can send Interflora’s additional products, such as chocolates with your flower order, when the delivery is in Finland. Orders to locations that are abroad may have a combination with flowers and additional products. Not every country has additional products in their selection. ### Floral cheques

### International Deliveries

### Funeral Orders

Even though we can't guarantee exact delivery times, exceptions for this are funeral orders that are always delivered according to the funeral time. ### How to order

You can order **in two different ways: in our webshop or by visiting an Interflora flower shop.** In order to place an order you’ll need the recipient's address and phone number. In our web shop you can pay with bank or credit card, online bank and digital wallets. Interflora flower shops accept at least cash and bank/credit cards. Invoicing is available for companies that have registered as corporate customers. Unfortunately we do not accept orders by phone.

#### Webshop order

* Choose the flowers.
* Choose additional products for your order if you like.
* Fill in the recipient’s information and the delivery date.
* Add a card to your order if you want and fill in your card message. If there is no card message in the order, the recipient will not know who the flowers are from.
* Fill in the special wishes for the delivery and choose the option on how to proceed if the recipient is absent.
* Fill in your own/sender’s details.
* Check your order summary.
* Accept the terms of delivery.
* Choose the payment method and proceed to making the payment.

#### From order to delivery

* We will handle your order in the Interflora office.
* We will contact you if we need more information.
* If the order is to Finland, we will send it to the local Interflora flower shop for delivery.
* If the order is to a location abroad, we will send it to the Interflora office of the destination country and there it will be directed to the local flower shop for delivery.

#### Flower Delivery

* The flower shop handles the flowers, card and possible additional products according to your order.
* If the flower shop does not have the desired flowers or has problems with the delivery, they will contact you or call the Interflora office and we will contact you to check how to proceed with the order.
* The flower shop will deliver the flowers, card and the possible additional products to the recipient.
* The flower shop confirms the delivery in our order register.
* You will get an automatic delivery confirmation to your email (only for orders delivered in Finland).

Information in the register may be used in Interflora.fi web shop’s own registers for marketing targeting without disclosing personal information to third parties. Interflora.fi web shop has the right to publish information from the customer register as a digital or written list unless the customer specially forbids it. We respect the confidentiality of personal information. Register is protected using firewalls, passwords and other technical solutions and held in a protected database to which only Interflora-Finland rf staff and authorized personnel have access to. Manual data is kept in locked space and only authorized personnel have access to it. Outdated or unnecessary information is disposed of accordingly. We keep personal data only as long it is necessary for the described use cases. Aforementioned information may be kept for longer if accounting laws or other laws mandate it.

The register’s information may be used within Interflora.fi web store’s own registers for targeted marketing without disclosing the information to third parties. International Deliveries

### Ordering an international delivery

You don’t have to be signed in to our webstore to order flowers. You can see the selection of the country by clicking “Send flowers” at the top banner of the webstore and choosing your destination country from the “Country” -field. Additional products are combined with flower products when ordering internationally.

After you have completed your order, you will get a confirmation email to the e-mail you provided. The order is then being handled at the Interflora Finland office and after check-up it will be sent to the office at the destination country. Flowers will be delivered by a local flower shop in the destination country. There are no automated delivery confirmation emails like in domestic orders. You can ask for a delivery confirmation by contacting the Interflora office at info@interflora.fi.

International delivery fee is 19,70€ and it is added to the order in the shopping cart. In addition, the price of flowers includes a local delivery charge, which varies by country. To some locations there might be extra delivery fee, if there's no Interflora-shop in that location. If the delivery is not possible to some certain area, our office will contact you in both cases.

It is especially important to provide the recipient's phone number. Deliveries vary depending on the country, so it is important to provide the recipient’s exact contact info. We cannot guarantee that the flowers can be left at the door, because of weather conditions or practices in different countries.

You can pay purchases with Visa Credit-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard-, Eurocard-, Debet MasterCard and American Express -cards. Paying with a credit card is directed through Visma Pay – payment service.

### Online Banking

Online banking transactions are directed through Visma Pay (business ID 2486559-4). Visma Pay is registered in a payment register maintained by Finanssivalvonta. You are redirected to payment via Visma Pay webservice. Visma Pay or Paybyway Oy are seen as a recipient on your bank statement and bill. Visma Pay conveys the payments to webstore owner. Paying with Visma Pay is safe, as all the information regarding your transaction are transferred using an encrypted connection so that no external party can see transaction details.

Interflora guarantees the quality of the flowers. 

Interflora Quarantee

Interflora guarantees that the flowers are of good quality when delivered and that the flowers are delivered according to the amount paid by the customer. **NOTE: Due to price fluctuations, the number of flowers in mixed bouquets may vary slightly.** Complaints related to the quality of the delivered flowers must be addressed to the Interflora office (tel. 0102176320 or info@interflora.fi) or to the store that delivered the flowers no later than within the working day following the delivery.

If the delivered flowers are poor quality, delivering store is obliged to deliver new flowers to the recipient. Refunding a part or the whole price of the flowers and delivery fee is possible against the evidence of poor quality of the flowers (bringing flowers to the flower shop or sending detailed photographs to Interflora office at [info@interflora.fi](mailto:info@interflora.fi)). Complaints about the quality of the flowers are normally handled in one work day. During seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Women's Day, Easter, Graduation Day) and the following weeks complaints are handled within three working days.

Flowers will be delivered on the desired day. Orders placed by 2:00 pm on weekdays can be delivered to your home address on the same day almost anywhere in Finland. An exception to this is certain locations where bus transportation and deliveries are only Mon-Fri. You will find a list of these locations at the end of the delivery terms. In addition, there are a few locations where delivery should have been made the day before.

The recipient is primarily delivered the flower variety ordered. If this is not possible, the variety declared or as close as possible to the variety shall be supplied. Plant pots and baskets may vary depending on the delivering flower shop.

Because flowers are fresh products and bouquets and arrangements are made by order, they don’t have returning policy. Chocolates and other candies that you can order as an additional product when ordering flowers, are groceries and they don’t have right of return either.

Cancelling order is possible at latest the previous work day before delivery by 3pm.

### Condolence message

When sending sympathy flowers, a card is included with them where you can write a beautiful message with your condolences in it. You may also use a ‘card of condolence’ when sending your sympathy to the relative of the departed. More on cards of condolence later.

All flower deliveries made by Interflora include a blank white card with a card text of your choice. You may also choose to buy a two-part card with a picture or a card of condolence. Available pictures in cards and cards of condolence vary between florists so they will choose one which they deem most suitable for the occasion. When making your order you may also wish for a certain type of picture or theme in the section: ‘special wishes for the delivery’. Our florist will fulfill your requests as closely as they can.

The card may have a short memorial poem or a simple and short condolence message. Here are a few examples of condolence messages:

### Card of condolence

A card of condolence is used as a sign of respect towards the departed and to imply sympathy towards their close relatives. This is mainly a Finnish tradition and is not traditionally used many other countries.

This card is sent with sympathy flowers to close relatives of the departed after the news of the passing have arrived. It can also be sent after the funeral if you hear of the departure afterwards. You may also send a card of condolence to a funeral with flowers.

In our online store you may add a card of condolence to your order in the ‘add to your delivery’ section which is the second step of ordering after choosing the flowers. It consists of a picture cover, inner pages and a ribbon. The right-side page of the inner pages includes the name of the departed, a small memorial text and names of the senders. The left side has a place for an optional memorial poem or verse. Some addresses have preprinted memorial poems or verses. It’s common to use the full name of the departed, but if they were a close relative or friend, you may use only their first name. Cards of condolence have predefined places for the name of the departed, names of the sender and the memorial verses. Here is an example:

Please note that these preset positions might not work perfectly in English as they’re designed to work with traditional Finnish remembrance verses.

Some cards of condolence have preprinted memorial verses so when you order one without giving a separate memorial verse or poem, our florist will choose a card of condolence with a preprinted memorial poem. Our online store has text fields for all these different verses so you can easily write your last farewell to the departed.

Frequently Asked Questions

### How do I order?

**You can order from Interflora web shop or by visiting a local Interflora flower shop.** In order to place a flower order you need to have the recipient’s address and phone number and an accepted payment method according to the location of the order. **We do not accept orders by phone.**  
In our web shop you can pay with bank or credit card, online bank and digital wallets. Interflora flower shops accept cash, bank cards and credit cards. Invoicing is available for companies that have registered as corporate customers.

### Is the delivery possible?

Interflora service covers nearly all of Finland and we have almost 300 flower shops around the country. Our web shop order form tells you if the delivery is not possible. If you are unsure and want to check if delivery is possible to a certain location, please contact our customer service. Our customer service chatbot Flora helps you 24/7. Deliveries on Sundays and public holidays are usually not possible, but there are a few exceptions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, or if Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day or days before Christmas are on a Sunday (some regional restrictions might occur).

### Same day delivery?

Orders placed before 1:45 PM on weekdays can be delivered to home addresses on the same day almost everywhere in Finland. To bigger cities same day deliveries are available for ordering until 3:45 PM. On Saturdays, orders for the same day delivery can be placed until 10:45 AM. Deliveries to company addresses are possible on weekdays. Orders to companies must be placed preferably one (1) day in advance or at the latest on the same morning by 9 AM.

### Delivery time

We cannot guarantee exact delivery times, but you may add your delivery time wish in your order. The delivering florist will do their best to deliver at the desired time. Exceptions for this are funeral orders that are always delivered according to the time of the funeral. Funeral orders must be placed 2 days before the delivery date (funeral).

### Recommendations

The Send flowers -section shows all the available products and you can narrow down the search according to occasion or flower colors. If you need recommendations our Chatbot Flora will gladly help you.

### International orders

You can send flowers with Interflora to more than 140 countries. The delivery fee for international orders is 19,70€ which includes the service fee. An order abroad for same day delivery must be placed by 12.00 noon Finnish time. Please notice the time difference between the countries. We cannot guarantee deliveries on Sundays or local legal holidays. We will inform you in case your order can’t be delivered on the chosen date. ### Delivery fee

The delivery fee is in addition to the flowers price. The delivery fee in Finland is 14,50€ and for international orders 19,70€. For the international orders, there might be extra delivery fees to some locations due to long delivery distance. In such cases we will contact you and agree on how to proceed.

### Additional products

You may also add some extra gift items to your flower order. You can choose chocolates, teddy bears, a greeting card, a vase or a pot to be delivered with the flowers. For a funeral order you can choose a card of condolence or a funeral ribbon. All the florists have selection of folded greeting cards and bigger cards of condolence, but they vary depending on the shop. The florist will choose the most suitable card for the occasion and your flowers. ### Floral cheques

You can send floral cheques to be redeemed in Finland. The service charge is 3,80 euros per delivery address. All floral cheques are sent by mail to the recipient and they are valid for two (2) years from the date of purchase. For same day shipment, we must receive your floral cheque order before 11 AM on weekdays. Floral cheques ordered after 11 AM on Fridays or during the weekend will be mailed on the following weekday at the earliest unless you have chosen a later mailing date. You may add a personal message to be delivered with your floral cheque if you add a greeting card to your order. The floral cheques can be redeemed by buying flowers or plants for the value specified on the floral cheque, in any Interflora flower shop in Finland. Funeral flowers are a sign of respect and remembrance towards the deceased. Mourning is a long and an individual process and choosing flowers for the funeral is a part of it. Choosing the right ones might seem difficult in times of sorrow. We here at Interflora are here to help you choose them.

When choosing flowers, it’s good to consider the possible wishes of close relatives or the deceased. The flowers might bring up the personality, fancies or your own relationship to the departed. Blue and white flowers are commonly used in Finland, but other colors have become more popular with time. Common flowers used in funeral bouquets and sprays are for example white lilies, arum, carnations, roses, irises and Eustoma.

### Deliveries to funerals

Funeral flowers must be ordered at least two days before the funeral. They use a lot of flowers and other materials which might not always be instantly available for our florists. The more specific your order is, the earlier it should be made.

Flowers are delivered straight to the church or the chapel for the funeral. This makes the funeral day easier and more fluent. Delivery practices differ between different areas and therefore our florist handle the deliveries themselves as they know the customs on how to deliver the flowers locally. Delivery fee for domestic deliveries in Finland is 14,50€.

Ordering funeral flowers from Interflora’s web store makes the funeral day more fluent and leaves more time for organizing other things. On our web store, you can look at our catalogue around the clock and order on your own schedule.

Our catalogue for funeral flowers when you choose ‘Funeral’ from the ‘Occasion’ menu. By opening a bouquet, spray or wreath from that list you can look at its details and add it to your basket. From your shopping basket press continue to order the selected flowers and any additional products.

After the order summary you may choose a folded greeting card, a card of condolence or a ribbon to be added to your flowers. Traditionally a card of condolence is sent to the relatives after the news of the death have broken, but it can also be sent to the funeral if you can’t personally come there. The additional products have their own text fields which appear after putting in the recipient information when making the order. There you may write memorial verses, poems, etc.

#### Funeral spray/arrangement

The most popular funeral flower is the funeral spray/arrangement. It’s often drop shaped, and it’s made into a flower sponge. Round sprays are also available, but they are not as common as the drop shaped ones. The look of the spray can be altered by changing its height and with flower choices. To help carry the spray, it has a handle under the flowers. Interflora sprays are priced between 95-120€.

A lighter version of the funeral spray is a funeral bouquet. They are usually drop shaped or round, but other shapes are also made more often than with funeral sprays. #### Funeral wreath

The most traditional option for funeral flowers is the wreath. Its round shape represents eternity, a motion that never stops. Historically the symbolic nature of the unmoving motion was seen as the wreath’s most important aspect which was emphasized with simple and uniform materials. ### Finnish funeral traditions

Finnish funeral tradition has formed into its contemporary form after the arrival of Christianity with Lutheranism bringing burials as a part of the tradition. This article is about Finnish funeral traditions where Lutheranism is strongly represented. Our florist can also help with information about secular funerals and funeral traditions of other religions.

#### Two weeks

Funerals are usually held two weeks after the passing. According to Finnish law the departed should be buried or cremated within one month of their death. Burial requires a permit which is signed by the doctor or a coroner. When planning the funeral one should find out if the deceased had a will or any wishes regarding the funeral.

#### Funeral service and memorial service

Funerals consist of two parts: a funeral service and a memorial service. The funeral service happens usually in a chapel, a church or at a cemetery after which the memorial service is held elsewhere. The funeral service is a calm and peaceful moment of saying goodbye. Speeches, condolences and other greetings are for the memorial service. Usually at the memorial service there is a table with a picture of the departed framed by beautiful flowers and a single burning candle.

#### Laying flowers

Close relatives arrange with the funeral organizer how flowers will be laid during the funeral service. In Finland flowers are usually set near the coffin or the grave by everyone themselves. Internationally it’s more common to bring the flowers in advance to the church or chapel where the staff lay the flowers in advance near the coffin or on racks set next to the coffin.

The flowers may be laid at the chapel or the church or at the grave. Close relatives lay their flowers first. Then it’s the turn of more distant relatives and finally friends. While laying down flowers it’s common to hold a brief silent moment near the coffin after which a few words may be said to the departed from a card or the ribbons on the flowers. Flowers are not laid on top of the coffin but on racks next to the coffin. If the flowers are laid inside a chapel or church, memorial verses won’t be read again at the grave, but flowers are laid on the burial mound.

#### Burial in a coffin or urn

There are to forms of burial: burial in a coffin or cremation and burial in an urn. In Finnish tradition coffin and urn adornments are used in Lutheran funeral services and secular funerals. The adornments are meant bring out the coffin and not cover it, so no more than 1/3 of the urn or coffin should be covered.

Coffin and urn adornments can be ordered directly from Interflora member florists of which many also offer funeral home services or work closely with a local funeral home. It’s important that the florist knows the exact model of the coffin or urn when designing these adornments.

#### Secular funerals

Non-religious funerals or secular funerals are more free form than a traditional Lutheran funeral and they don’t have a strict norms that should be followed. When arranging the funeral the wishes of the departed, their lifestyle and other beliefs should be taken into consideration. Both coffin burials and cremations are common with secular funerals.

Congregations are mandated by law to offer burial places also to those who don’t follow their religion. Many cemeteries have an area with no religious marks. If the departed wishes, their ashes may be scattered to other areas with the permission of the land’s owner. In secular funerals the departed may be blessed by the church before they are buried.

### Memorial verses are written on a card or ribbons

Memorial words play a large role in the Finnish funeral tradition and are an irreplaceable part of funeral flowers as they are read aloud when laying the flowers. All Interflora flower orders include a blank white card. With funeral flowers you may also order ribbons that are attached to the flowers.

There are always two ribbons and the other one has the memorial verse and the other has the names. With funeral bouquets a narrower ribbon or card is used than with other funeral flowers. When choosing a card instead of the ribbons, it will also have the memorial verse and sender’s names.

Ribbons are available in single or multicolor. The most common color combinations are blue and white, blue and yellow or red and black. The color of the ribbon is determined by the color of the used flowers for a harmonic look. If you wish for a certain color, you may write the wish in the ‘special wishes for the delivery’ part when making the order.

History of Interflora

#### 1920s

Suomen Kukkainvälitysyhdistys - Föreningen Finland Blomsterförmedling - the predecessing association to Interflor-Finland – was formed officially in 1927. Although the foundation was laid already during the previous year. Originally there were 14 members and 6 sponsoring members. The first bouquet making course was organized in 1929. Dan Ward was elected as the first chair, and he continued for 10 years as the head figure of the association.

#### 1930s

The bouquet making courses started a fruitful cooperation between flower farmers and florists and this cooperation continues blossom today.

#### 1940s

The association missed a few meetings in the 1940s due to assembly bans at the time. And altogether trading activities were suffering from a recession during the later years of the war. In 1948 trading activity started picking up again and reached the levels seen before the war even though florists were lacking funds and flowers due to shortages. Importing licenses were exceedingly hard to acquire. In 1949 Harald Schmidt was chosen as the chair of the association. A teaching course for florists was arranged in Sweden in 1947, to which two members from Finland took part.

#### 1950s

A new decade opened the possibilities for international operation. The association applied for membership in Fleurop which was granted on the second time voting on the matter. Connections to the United States and Canada were reopened. Even though, import licenses were granted, getting them was a slow process. The first florist teaching class in Finland was arranged in 1954.

#### 1960s

In 1965 the association got its current name Interflora-Finland. Flower deliveries were increasing year after year. In the 1960s Interflora-Finland and Finland’s Florist association (Suomen Kukkakauppiasliitto) organized courses aimed at increasing the expertise of florists. Interflora-Finland was on an international stage for the first time in 1969 when it had its own exhibition at Floriade in Rotterdam. Also, on the same year Interflora started advertising in television.

#### 1970s

Interflora designed international bouquets, which were sold through catalogues globally.

#### 1980s

Interflora-Finland pleaded to the Finnish government to revoke the need for importing licenses to import flowers from development countries. Also between 1986-87 Interflora-Finland started using computers for the first time. The acquisition had been prepared for three years.

#### 1990s

In the 1990s a lot of effort was put into cooperation between different organizations. Florists gained a place on the board of Puutarhaliitto r.f. with the help of Interflora-Finland and Finland’s Florist association. In 1997 Interflora was the first to open a new service to customers: an online store (Interflora.fi).

#### 

#### 2000s

Interflora members started using a new order management system which made computers an everyday tool for florists. Taking part in public events to give flowers, adorning the Interflora logo, to artists, athletes, miss Finlands, etc. has been seen as an effective marketing tool and this kind of activity increased in the 2000s. Showing bouquets and other flower apparel in different media has benefited Interflora, its members and the entire industry greatly.

#### 2010s

Interflora updated its flower order program used by its members and renewed their website which was popular among customers and B2B clients. Also skilled florists from Finland took part in international bouquet tying competitions with great success.

Terms of Delivery

### Flower Orders

An order placed before 1:45 PM on weekdays can be delivered to a home address on the same day almost everywhere in Finland. To bigger cities it is possible to place an order until 3:45 PM. On Saturdays orders can be placed until 10:45 AM for same day deliveries, except to locations where delivery is possible only between Monday to Friday. To some of these locations orders must be made a day in advance because of the transportation of deliveries. In these locations delivery is possible only by bus or via the post office. You can find a list of bus delivery locations at the end of the Terms of Delivery.

We cannot guarantee deliveries abroad on Sundays or public holidays. We will contact you if the delivery is not possible on the chosen day. Orders for international deliveries need to be done on the delivery day before 12 noon at the latest on weekdays. Please also note the time difference between countries, since this may affect the delivery date. In some countries, there may also be locations where delivery is not possible at all due to excessive distances. In these cases, the Interflora office will contact you.

Delivery to a company address is possible on weekdays during office hours unless another delivery time is presented in the order. Orders to a company address must be placed the day before delivery or at the latest in the morning of the delivery day before 9 AM.

### Deliveries on Public Holidays

There are no deliveries on Sundays or on public holidays, except on certain days such as Mother's Day and Father's Day or if Valentine's Day, International Women's Day or days before Christmas are on Sunday (with local limitations).

### Delivery Fee

The flower item includes a service fee 5,20€ which will be divided between the delivering flower shop and Interflora. The delivery fee for deliveries in Finland is 14,50€. The flowers are delivered to the given address, provided by the sender. The delivery is done by the staff of the flower shop or by a courier service.

Note that if the selected payment method is invoice, an additional 4€ invoice fee will be added to the total price.

The delivery fee for deliveries abroad is 19,70€. In addition, the price of flowers includes a local delivery charge, which varies by country. To some international destinations an extra delivery fee can be added if there is no Interflora -shop in the region. In this case we will contact You.

### Time of Delivery

We cannot guarantee the delivery at a precise time, but the flower shop will do their best to arrange the delivery at the desired time. If you have a wish about the delivery time, you can write it in the section Special wishes for the delivery. Deliveries to home addresses usually take place between 10 AM and 8 PM. Orders to company addresses are delivered within office hours.

Funeral orders are exceptions; they will be delivered according to the time of the funeral. Funeral orders must be placed two days before the funeral service at the latest.

### Delivery Options and Recipient Details

The sender is responsible for the correctness of the information (name, address, zip code, city, phone number) that they enter when an order is placed.

When you have made your order in the web shop and your payment has been processed successfully, you will receive an order confirmation to your email address. From the order confirmation you can check that all the details are correct.

Once choosing the delivery option ‘Leave at door if recipient is not at home’, the sender gives their permission to leave the flowers at the door if the recipient is not at home. We do not inform the sender nor the recipient separately about the situation. If you give permission to leave flowers at the door, you are responsible if the flowers disappear or get ruined. We cannot guarantee that the flowers can be left at the door, because of weather conditions or practices in different countries (for example warm countries).

If you choose the option ‘The recipient must be reached before the delivery’, your order won’t be delivered before the shop has reached the recipient by phone or text message.

You may forbid the delivering shop to call the recipient. In this case delivery might be delayed or cancelled. If the recipient is not able to receive the flowers and there is no possibility to leave the flowers on the door, the delivery is returned to the flower shop and the delivery fee is used. The recipient can then pick up the flowers at the delivering flower shop or the sender can pay another delivery fee of 14,50 €. In this case the flower shop will arrange a new delivery. If the delivery is not possible, Interflora will contact you.

### Floral Cheques

The delivery charge is 3,80€ per delivery address. Floral cheques can only be delivered within Finland and can be used in Interflora flower shops in Finland. Flora cheques are mailed to the recipient. For shipment on the same day, we must receive your order before 11 AM on weekdays. Cheques will be mailed on the requested date unless the order is placed for the same day after 11 AM, on weekends or midweek holidays. In these cases, the cheque will be mailed at the earliest on the next weekday.

### Additional Products

In addition to flowers, you can order products such as chocolate, a teddy bear, a vase, a pot, a greeting card, card of condolence or a ribbon (for funeral orders). Every flower shop has cards of condolences and folded greeting cards, but the selection varies depending on the delivering shop. That's why there are no model pictures of the cards in the web shop. The flower shop chooses the most suitable card for the occasion.

If the chosen additional product is not available at the given location, Interflora's office or the delivering shop will contact You via phone or email. The chosen additional product can be changed to another additional product with the same value, the value of the product can be refunded or the value can be included in the flower amount.

### Interflora Guarantee

Interflora guarantees the freshness and quality of every Interflora order at the time of delivery, and that the order is filled to full value. **NOTE: Due to price fluctuations, the number of flowers in mixed bouquets may vary slightly.** Primarily the chosen flowers will be delivered to the recipient. If the ordered flowers are not available, the alternative choice or a similar substitute will be delivered. If this is not possible, we will contact You. Plant pots and baskets may vary depending on the delivering flower shop. The delivery will take place on the requested date.

If the quality of the flowers does not meet your expectations, the flower shop is obligated to deliver new flowers to the recipient. Complaints of poor quality must be made immediately, no later than the next weekday, to Interflora's office (0102176320, info@interflora.fi) or to the Interflora florist who delivered the flowers. Other complaints or notifications about the delivery or delivered flowers must be sent to Interflora’s office within 30 days from the selected delivery date.

### Use of Customer Information

All order information (names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail address, card message, chosen item) and IP-address of the used device will be saved in our database. The given information is only used for delivering your flower order. The IP-address is only used to solve a possible situation of malpractice.

We do not pass on order information to third parties, except to complete the delivery. Your e-mail address will not be used for any other purpose either. Only Interflora's staff has access to order data, which we store for five years.

Information related to the payment of your order will not be saved in our database.

### Bus Deliveries

Deliveries to the following locations are done by bus. In these cases the recipient picks up the flowers at the bus or at Matkahuolto-terminal. Deliveries to these locations are done only on weekdays, excluding public holidays. The recipient's phone number is mandatory to complete these deliveries, as the flower shop must call the recipient in advance to agree the delivery with them.

Send lovely chocolates with birthday flowers or add a suitable vase for the bouquet. A cuddly teddy bear is great for celebrating a new baby. Funeral flowers can be sent with typed ribbons and a card of condolence may be added to sympathy flowers.

While ordering flowers these products will come up on their own page after you have chosen the flowers you want to send and added them to your shopping basket and continued the order.

With a beautiful bouquet you may order a beautiful vase. This is a great choice if you are unsure if the recipient has a suitable vase for the flowers you are sending. Vases differ between florists and the delivered vase is picked based on how it fits the shape of the bouquet. The florist will choose a suitable vase for high, low, etc. bouquets.

You may choose a protective pot for a potted plant or flower. The selection of pots varies between florists. The florist will choose a suitable pot for the chosen product.

#### Card of condolence

A traditional card of condolence (approximately A4 -size) is sent to the family of the deceased after the sorrowful news have arrived. The card can also be sent to a funeral service with flowers where it will be read aloud if you are unable to take part in the funeral. You may order the card of condolence when you choose flowers from the Funeral or Sympathy categories. All florists have cards of condolences, but selection varies between stores and models will differ slightly. The florist will choose a card that suits the flowers and the occasion most. Therefore we only have a picture of a blank card in our webshop. If you have wishes on which kind of card of condolence you would prefer, please write the wishes on the ‘special wishes for the delivery’ -section and our florist will try to fulfill your wishes as well as possible. Card of condolence can only be sent with flowers.

#### Funeral spray ribbons

Typed ribbons for a funeral bouquet, spray or wreath. You may choose ribbons when you choose flowers from the Funeral -category. There are two ribbons, the first one is for the memorial words and the second one is for the senders names. With funeral bouquets a slightly narrower ribbon is used. Ribbons are available in single and multicolor options. Common color choices are blue- white, blue-yellow and red-black. The color of the ribbon is based on the flowers so that the entire package is as harmonic as it can be. You may write a wish for the ribbon color in the ‘special wishes for the delivery’ -section. Send a beautiful farewell to your loved one.

#### Changes in delivery

If the additional product you have chosen can't be delivered to the area in your order, Interflora customer service will contact you via email. We can replace the product with another, return the value to your account or we can add the value of the additional product to the value of the flowers.
