You can order Women's Day flowers well in advance: with the order form, you can choose the delivery date yourself. We will still take Women's Day flower orders on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in most locations until 10.45 A.M. Please note that our delivery time is from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and we cannot accept exact time requests, especially during busy seasons.

Additional Products for Flower Orders

In addition to flowers, you can also order delicious chocolates in various designs of boxes or a soft teddy bear from Interflora. Chocolate complements your flower order and the recipient will remember the gift for a long time. You can select additional products for your order after you have first selected the flower product and accepted the order summary. Read more about our additional products here.

If you want to send a greeting card with the flowers, you can add it to your order after you have filled in the delivery address and recipient information. There are two different options for cards; Basic card €1 and Folded card €5. The Basic card is a simple card without a picture, on which your message is either printed or written by hand. The Folded card, on the other hand, is a folded card with a picture, which the florist chooses from its own selection. You can write wishes regarding the image of the card in the "Special wishes for delivery" field.

History of Women's Day

Women's Day has been celebrated since the early 20th century on March 8th. In 1975, the International Year of Women, the UN confirmed the celebration of the day. Since then, it has been an official holiday in several countries.

In Finland, Women's Day was included in the calendars in 1990, but it is not a flag day. On Women’s Day we usually celebrate and remember women who are important to us, such as our own loved ones, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and co-workers.
